Proximal Bone Block With Distal Screw Trajectory & Stability

This biomechanics study looks at how a proximal bone block with distal screw trajectory improves mechanical stability during distalization tibial tubercle osteotomy. I conducted the study with my husband, Dr. Andreas Gomoll.

We looked at our technique for fixation for tibial tubercle distalization and demonstrated that the strength of fixation is much higher than the traditional technique for this surgery.
